Dr. Nancy Collins is passionate about getting patients the wound care they need, delivered by qualified and caring professionals. She started this website so that both patients and health care professionals have a place to get real answers and reliable information on nutritional intervention to optimize wound healing.
Dr. Collins is a wound care certified registered dietitian based in Las Vegas, NV. She is known nationally for her expertise in the complex relationship between malnutrition, body composition, and tissue regeneration. Dr. Collins has more than 25 years of hands-on practitioner experience in clinical nutrition and industry consulting.
Dr. Collins also is regarded nationally as a medico-legal expert dealing with the issues of regulatory compliance and the applicable standard of care in negligence, wrongful death, and malpractice lawsuits. She has served as an expert witness in more than 500 legal matters.
Dr. Collins has a long history of service to the nutrition profession and was president of the Florida Dietetic Association, chair of Nutrition Entrepreneurs, and delegate in the House of Delegates. She has held numerous other positions, including several with the Evidence Analysis Library Work Groups, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics representative to the National Pressure Injury Advisory Panel, and currently the Academy representative to the Alliance of Wound Care Stakeholders.

Ann Graham received her Bachelor of Science degree from Ohio University’s Scripps School of Journalism in 1974. She has 24 years’ experience in medical writing and editing, specializing in medical nutritional and pharmaceutical communications. In addition, Ann has an extensive background in advertising, public relations, Web and publication design, training, and magazine, video, and newspaper production. She currently is a communications consultant, working with a wide network of communications professionals.
